Celiktrans Shipyard was established in 1958, on the European side of Phosphorous as a ship building yard, with slipways. In those days, existence slipways in Turkish private shipyards were not so common. So we were the industry leader among the private shipyards.

Celiktrans build up the FIRST STEEL CONSTRUCTED VESSEL M/V Y.Buyukdere among Turkish Shipyards in 1958. Since then, our shipyard had successfully build and delivered 63 different types of ships and tug boats, numerous ships repaired and services supplied such as major overhaul, re-engining, main propulsion and electrical systems maintenances.

Celiktrans shipyard facility moved its location from the Phosphorous to the new site at Tuzla in 1984 During the recent years, our shipyard has started to supply new buildings to the ship owners abroad. Among the ships delivered during the last three years, there were three Multi-Purpose Trawlers, one 5000 DWT ice class Container Ship, one 2650 DWT Chemical Tanker to Netherlands and one 3100 DWT Chemical Tanker still in construction to a Turkish ship owner.

During the same time period, three Mooring Boats, two Pilot Boats were delivered.In order to ensure all out quality stas on the production, Celiktrans has obtained ISO-9002 Certificate in 2001. standard
